L3Harris is hiring a Manager, Mechanical Engineering (L5) in Waterdown, Ontario, on a 9/80 regular schedule. The role leads the mechanical engineering team responsible for designing complex opto-mechanical and electro-mechanical components from concept through production, while providing technical leadership, managing design processes and work packages, supporting NPI projects, and developing external resources. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree with at least nine years of related experience, or a graduate degree with at least seven years, or thirteen years of experience without a degree, along with knowledge of opto-mechanical design, manufacturing, materials science, CAD, and analysis methods. The pay range is $126,500 to $176,500 in Ontario, Canada.
