Description
The Mechanical Engineering Manager leads the Wescam Mechanical Engineering team, providing technical leadership for product design, mechanical design integrity, NPI projects, engineering processes, standards, resource planning, and cross-functional support. The role requires opto-mechanical and optical design knowledge, manufacturing and rapid-prototyping expertise, SolidWorks experience, and proficiency in FEA, CFD, vibration analysis, motion systems, and testing. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree with at least nine years of related experience, or a graduate degree with at least seven years, or thirteen years of experience without a degree. The position offers a base salary of CAD C$126,500 to C$176,500 and does not require a security clearance or visa sponsorship.
