Manager, Mechanical Engineering, NPD Systems at Intuitive

Intuitive is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead a small team of mechanical engineers developing the Ion robotic endoluminal platform for minimally invasive lung biopsy. The role provides technical direction, design standards, FEA and tolerance analysis, design-for-manufacturing guidance, engineering review, performance management, project oversight, and risk mitigation across the product development lifecycle. Candidates need a master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience, along with 4+ years of experience under the master’s route or 6+ years under the bachelor’s route, plus experience in robotics or medical products and hands-on mechanical engineering leadership.
