Description
The Manager of Materials Management administers and directs the purchasing, inventory, storage, distribution, and materials-processing functions for Huron Regional Medical Center. The role negotiates prices and purchase conditions, develops procurement policies, manages perpetual inventory and supply distribution, supports capital equipment and budget activities, and coordinates with vendors. It is a full-time position with 40 weekly hours and an 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. shift, and requires a business administration or allied-field college degree or high school graduation with five years of hospital materials management experience, along with MRP, computer, communication, numerical, and forklift capabilities.
