Description

FMX is seeking a Manager of Solutions Engineering to lead their pre-sales technical organization. This role involves managing a team of Solution Engineers, building technical and consulting skills, fostering a positive culture, and partnering with Sales to improve deal quality. The Manager will identify product-market fit gaps, support client transitions, deliver high-quality product demonstrations, validate solutions, oversee technical discovery, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5–8+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or similar pre-sales technical roles within a SaaS environment
3–5+ years of people management experience leading technical or pre-sales teams
Preferred Qualifications: Strong experience supporting complex, multi-product sales cycles across multiple customer segments
Proven ability to partner effectively with Sales, Product, and post-sales teams
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value
Strong understanding of SaaS architectures, integrations, and enterprise workflows
Experience with CMMS/CAFM platforms or facilities-related solutions is a plus
Familiarity with modern demo tools, data environments, and solution design methodologies
Ability to quickly learn and evangelize new technologies and product capabilities
Willingness to travel (~20–40%) for customer engagements, team collaboration, and industry events
