Description
The role manages and oversees overall yard and weld train operations, including finance, manufacturing, engineering, materials, maintenance, safety, and quality. Responsibilities include managing departmental budgets, leading continual improvement initiatives, developing customer-focused procedures, overseeing hiring and HR policies, conducting safety training and investigations, providing staff training, and ensuring environmental and safety compliance. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience, seven years of manufacturing supervisory experience, knowledge of accounting and Lean, Six Sigma, and manufacturing best practices, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
