Description
The role develops and executes strategic plans for distribution and warehouse operations, including business strategy, policy setting, operational analysis, process improvement, facility and capacity planning, budget analysis, supply-chain modeling, and material-handling equipment recommendations. It also manages a team and supports field distribution centers, with 5% to 20% overnight travel. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, five years of work experience, and experience with distribution-center setups, layouts, space optimization, analytics, and supply-chain management.
