Description

Impulse is hiring a Manager, Opto-Mechanical Manufacturing to lead and mentor opto-mechanical manufacturing engineers and technicians, own manufacturing for spacecraft products, and improve production quality, reliability, and throughput. The role includes developing metrology and tooling processes, designing alignment and acceptance-test tooling, collaborating with optical design engineers, establishing cleanroom and acceptance-testing capabilities, and supporting design reviews. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or physics field, at least six years of opto-mechanical manufacturing experience, at least three years of people-management experience, and expertise in optical metrology, manufacturing processes, materials, and mechanical design tools.

Additional Information
