Description
D-Wave is hiring a Manager or Senior Manager, Quantum Processor Development to lead a team of experimental physicists and materials scientists working on quantum processor development, including annealing processors, superconducting integrated circuits, device physics, and gate-model prototyping. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with people management, resource planning, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic technical decision-making. Candidates need a graduate degree in physics, electrical engineering, or a related discipline, at least 8 years of relevant quantum computing or experimental condensed matter experience, and 5+ years leading technical or scientific teams in an industrial R&D environment. The position is based in Burnaby and offers CAD annual base pay of 185,000–255,000 for the Manager level and 211,000–290,000 for the Senior Manager level.
