Description

Intuit is hiring a Payroll Tax Operations People Manager to lead a cross-functional team of Tax Processors responsible for resolving complex payroll tax notices, corrections, amendments, and Pay & File cases across multiple jurisdictions. The role owns team delivery, quality, SLA compliance, backlogs, escalations, SOP and knowledge-base governance, hiring, onboarding, performance coaching, and process improvement. Candidates need at least five years of people-management experience in payroll tax operations and five years of hands-on payroll tax experience, including complex IRS and state notice resolution, amended returns, and multi-state tax compliance.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of people management experience in payroll tax operations or a related service environment
5+ years of hands-on payroll tax experience across multiple states
Experience resolving complex IRS and state agency correspondence
Experience preparing and approving amended Federal and State payroll tax returns across 10 or more states
Experience with enterprise payroll platforms and case management systems such as Salesforce
Preferred Qualifications: BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business
Prior experience at a payroll service bureau, PEO, or multi-client tax operations center
Active Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation
Enrolled Agent (EA) designation
FPC-accepted candidate actively pursuing CPP
