Description
The Manager, Property Improvements & Plan Review co-manages hotel projects for an assigned territory of franchised IHG hotels, focusing on either Property Improvement Plan (PIP) renovation or new development (ND) construction. Responsibilities include conducting PIP assessments, managing renovation and new-development projects, reviewing architectural and life-safety submittals, coordinating with owners, architects, designers, contractors, and consultants, enforcing brand and life-safety standards, monitoring milestones, managing travel and project budgets, and mentoring less experienced staff. The role requires a bachelor's or master's degree in architecture, design, construction management, or an equivalent combination, at least eight years of progressive design, architecture, or construction-management experience, two years of hotel renovation or new-build experience, and two years of project-management experience. It requires 75% travel to Latin America and is based in Mexico City.
