Description
The Manager, Plant II oversees the overall operation of a HarbisonWalker International plant, including costs, quality systems, inventories, safety programs, plant-management assignments, and performance reviews. The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or science, preferably chemical or mechanical, and five to seven years of refractory experience across operations, service, supervisory, and management functions. It also requires knowledge of refractory materials, regulations, ASTM and ISO standards, quality assurance, and computer systems, along with the ability to work in an office and near moving technical parts.
