Applied Materials is hiring a front-line manager to lead a team of technical contributors in its Electron Microscopy and materials characterization lab in Santa Clara, California. The role provides direct supervision, technical and operational guidance, performance analysis, workflow improvement, recruitment, and stakeholder communication. Candidates need at least five years of relevant technical experience, including one to two years leading, mentoring, or coordinating others; a strong background in electron microscopy or related metrology and failure analysis; and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. The position is full-time, with 10% travel and no relocation eligibility.
