OceanaGold is hiring an experienced Manager – Projects Surface Processing Infrastructure to lead the planning, design, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness of the Paste Plant, Leach Circuit upgrade, and associated surface processing infrastructure at Haile Gold Mine. The role manages project scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, risk, procurement, contracts, technical interfaces, contractor performance, and stakeholder reporting, and requires a degree in engineering or a related discipline, at least 15 years of relevant experience including 5 years in a senior project-delivery role, and previous management experience. The position is based in the Haile Gold Mine area near Charlotte, North Carolina, and offers a competitive salary, bonuses, health, vision, and dental insurance, and other benefits.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, such as Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
Required Previous Experiences: 15+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a senior role delivering large projects
Previous management experience
Experience managing projects from inception through construction, commissioning, and close-out
Experience working in both project start-up and operating environments
Strong experience in project risk management and mitigation
Experience with surface processing infrastructure project development and project controls
Strong understanding of project scheduling, cost management, procurement, contract management, quality, and risk
Preferred Qualifications: Recognized formal project management qualifications
