Description
The Manager, Regulatory Affairs and Counsel supports the Solar Energy Industries Association and its members on federal energy regulatory and legal matters, including federal siting and permitting, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission proceedings, Regional Transmission Organization issues, transmission, interconnection, and market reform. The role drafts regulatory filings, comments, pleadings, and stakeholder submissions; leads member discussions; builds consensus; and advocates with government officials and other stakeholders. It is based in Washington, DC, follows a hybrid schedule requiring at least three days per week in the office or in-person meetings, and includes occasional travel. Candidates need a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, an active U.S. state bar license, and 2–4 years of relevant experience.
