Description

The Manager, Research (National Inuit Health Survey) leads the implementation and delivery of the Qanuippitaa? National Inuit Health Survey (QNIHS) as an ongoing national program. This role involves overseeing daily program operations, coordinating with various stakeholders, managing budgets, and ensuring high-quality output. The manager also focuses on team leadership, planning, stakeholder engagement, data and policy support, and administrative tasks.

Required Previous Experiences: managing staff and leading a team
analysis, program development, evaluation, and consultation
general research and policy development experience
developing and implementing research and surveys
project management or program development
partnership development and maintenance
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Inuit health priorities and the social determinants of health
Understanding of Inuit communities, governance structures, and land claim agreements
Knowledge of research, survey methodologies, and data processes
Strong leadership and team management skills
Ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and competing priorities
Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to support evidence-based work
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
excellent oral and written communication skills (primarily in English; Inuktitut and/or French an asset)
