Description
L3Harris is hiring a Manager, Software Engineering in Camden, New Jersey, to lead the development and sustainment of mission-critical communications and service-based software. The role provides technical leadership to software engineers, guides software through requirements, architecture, design, implementation, integration, and testing, and supports recruiting, performance management, proposal development, and engineering planning. Responsibilities include RESTful APIs, Java enterprise applications, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, RPM packaging, code and architecture reviews, and VoIP systems using SIP-based call control and PJSIP or PJMEDIA. The position requires a bachelor’s degree with at least nine years of relevant experience, a graduate degree with at least seven years, or thirteen years of experience without a degree, along with a DoD Secret security clearance.
