Description
SoftWriters is hiring a Manager, Software Engineering to lead multiple technology projects and engineering teams, hire and scale teams, mentor engineers, support Scrum practices, improve product quality, and guide the organization’s transition to an agent-first, AI-enabled software development culture. The role reports to the Director, Software Engineering and requires a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least two years of technical and people leadership experience, software design and development expertise, database and source-control experience, and strong collaboration and customer-service skills. The position is hybrid in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with core office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and does not sponsor work visas.
