Description
Socure is hiring a Manager, Software Engineering to lead hands-on technical work on scalable, secure, resilient backend systems and platforms in AWS. The role combines architecture, coding, performance tuning, API and microservice design, observability, incident response, and engineering leadership, while mentoring and hiring engineers. Candidates need at least seven years of professional software engineering experience, including large-scale production systems, plus three years of hands-on technical leadership and experience with Golang or Java, distributed systems, AWS, microservices, containers, and DevOps. The position requires permanent UK work rights, is based in London or within a commutable distance, and requires attendance at the office as needed; Socure does not provide visa sponsorship.
