Intuitive is hiring a Software Manager for its multiport software group in Sunnyvale, California, to manage a small team focused on the internal da Vinci emulator. The role oversees the development, deployment, and support of large-scale emulation features and hybrid hardware-in-the-loop setups, mentors software engineers, learns the evolving da Vinci system software and firmware, and promotes a simulation-first development approach. Candidates need at least eight years as an individual contributor, three years of people-management or equivalent leadership experience, a university degree, software-engineering mentoring experience, complex-system debugging experience, and C++ and Python proficiency.
