Description
Mastercard is hiring a Manager, Software Engineering - Java, Springboot, Kafka, SQL to lead the Transaction Resilience team’s coordination of new product functionality, including backend and consumer-facing applications. The role supervises and coaches three or more engineering teams, recruits talent, manages budgets and forecasting, drives engineering productivity and quality, and provides strategic leadership across applications, systems, and software-development methodologies. The manager must have experience managing a small-scale development organization of 15+ teams, a progressive career in Java and secure coding, and expertise in application frameworks, operating systems, debugging, architecture, release pipelines, vulnerability scanning, and performance testing.
