Riot Games is hiring an Engineering Manager for its League of Legends Alternate Play Modes theme. The role leads a small engineering pod responsible for delivering and modernizing rotating game modes, with responsibilities including managing engineers, contributing to UI and player-facing gameplay systems, maintaining engineering best practices, and collaborating with product, design, and other engineering teams. The position requires 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, 2+ years in engineering management or a game-development tech lead role, strong C++ and large-codebase experience, a proven record of shipping UI/UX features, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
