Unity is hiring a Software Engineering Manager to lead a new team delivering Unity platform support across the Android ecosystem, from mobile phones to laptops. The role combines technical leadership with people management, including team development, cross-team collaboration, stakeholder communication, and research and delivery of runtime optimizations using benchmarks, AI-based workflows, and performance analysis. Candidates should have experience managing high-performance software engineering teams and knowledge of Android technologies across native C/C++, Java, and Kotlin, along with familiarity with C++, C#, and Java. The position is based in Montreal, Canada, or remotely in the United States East Coast time zone, with base salary ranges provided for three geographic zones.
