Description

NVIDIA is hiring a Solutions Architect Manager for Data Processing to lead a data processing solutions architecture team and develop techniques for GPU-accelerating high-performance databases, ETL, data analytics, and AI data processing technologies. The role involves analyzing and optimizing complex data-intensive workloads on GPU and CPU architectures, influencing hardware, software, and programming-model designs, and collaborating with NVIDIA research and product teams as well as industry and academic partners.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related computationally focused science, or equivalent experience
Required Previous Experiences: 8+ years of overall experience, including 3 years of management experience
Hands-on experience with low-level parallel programming, including CUDA, OpenACC, OpenMP, MPI, pthreads, or TBB
In-depth expertise with CPU/GPU architecture fundamentals, especially memory subsystems
Domain expertise in high-performance databases, ETL, data analytics, and/or vector databases
Preferred Qualifications: Experience optimizing or implementing database operators or query planners for parallel or distributed frameworks
Background optimizing vector database index builds and search
Experience profiling and optimizing CUDA kernels
Background with compression, storage systems, networking, and distributed computer architectures
