Description
The Sonographer Manager leads the daily operations, quality assurance, clinical performance, scheduling, and staff development of an ultrasound department while performing diagnostic obstetrical and gynecologic ultrasound examinations. The role supervises sonographers, supports recruitment and training, manages equipment and vendor relationships, ensures compliance with AIUM and infection-control standards, and collaborates with physicians and clinic leadership. It requires an accredited diagnostic sonography degree, RDMS certification, CPR/BLS certification, and at least five years of OB/GYN or MFM ultrasound experience; four years of leadership experience is preferred.
