Description
The Manager, Speaking Test Development oversees the development, review, revision, and approval of Speaking test items and ancillary materials for the WIDA English language proficiency assessment suite. The role manages test development staff, coordinates timelines and quality controls, supports field testing and scoring-material research, maintains test databases and design plans, and mentors staff. It is a full-time position with a hybrid option combining in-person work at CAL’s Washington, D.C. office with up to 100% remote work, and requires a bachelor’s degree with five years of relevant experience or a master’s degree with two years of relevant experience, along with expertise in large-scale spoken English proficiency assessments for K-12 multilingual learners.
