Intuitive Surgical is hiring a Systems Analyst (Robotic Control Engineer) to lead a team of Systems Analysts and support the design, development, integration, safety, and verification of robotic surgical products. The role focuses on tele-robotic motion and force control, robotic manipulator control, electromechanical architecture, safety algorithms, clinical risk analysis, and cross-functional collaboration across software, hardware, manufacturing, and clinical engineering teams. Candidates need a master’s degree in robotics-related engineering with at least six years of mechatronic control experience, or a Ph.D. with three years of such experience, along with people-management or cross-functional technical leadership experience and strong embedded C and servo-control capabilities.
