Description
Hadrian is hiring a Head of Government Relations - Federal Legislative to shape the defense budget build inside the Pentagon and OMB, engage congressional Armed Services and Budget Committee leadership, and advise on defense topline, appropriations, NDAA authorization, apportionment, allocation, obligation, execution, working capital funds, reprogramming, and related budget intelligence. The role is an individual contributor to start, reports to the SVP of Public Policy, and may evolve into a small team as the portfolio matures. Candidates need 15+ years of defense budget experience, direct hands-on ownership of reprogramming and working capital fund oversight, strong Pentagon and Hill relationships, federal lobbying eligibility, and a national security clearance. The target salary is $224,000-$260,000, with medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), equity, and other benefits.
