Allstate is hiring a Managing Engineer, Data Security Engineering to lead a team responsible for designing, building, and operating data security products and controls across DLP Policy, Data Intelligence, and Data Access. The role combines people leadership, technical direction, hands-on engineering, and delivery ownership, with responsibilities including policy automation, data discovery and classification, access controls, automated control lifecycles, reliability, and adoption. Candidates need at least five years of software, data, or security engineering experience, two years leading engineers while remaining technically engaged, and expertise in data protection, cloud and enterprise security architectures, and automation technologies such as Python, PowerShell, REST APIs, Terraform, YAML, and JSON. The position offers $120,000–$195,000 annually and does not offer employment-based visa sponsorship.
