Description

E Source is hiring a Managing or Senior Managing Consultant to lead applied research, evaluation, customer and UX research, and consulting engagements for utility clients from design through delivery. The role advises clients, manages project scope, budgets, risks, and multidisciplinary teams, develops client-facing deliverables, and mentors team members. It is fully remote with 1–4 trips per year, requires US or Canadian work authorization, and offers a budgeted salary of $95,000–$130,000 USD plus an annual bonus, along with medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Leading applied research, evaluation, customer research, UX research, or consulting engagements from design through delivery
Qualitative research methods and quantitative or mixed-method evaluation approaches
Developing research or evaluation plans, designing data collection instruments, overseeing analysis, and translating findings into recommendations
Managing client relationships, project scope, budgets, timelines, risks, and multidisciplinary project teams
Mentoring, coaching, or developing junior team members
Preferred Qualifications: Experience evaluating utility, energy efficiency, demand-side management, electrification, customer experience, or distributed energy resource programs
Recognized subject matter expertise and thought leadership
Proposal development, finalist presentations, client expansions, or business development
Representing the organization in client meetings, industry discussions, webinars, conferences, or professional forums
