Description
The RMS Manual Machinist - VTL operates large vertical turret lathes and other manual machining equipment to produce, modify, and repair rotating machinery components such as pumps, turbines, and compressors. The role includes interpreting blueprints, setting up machines, measuring and verifying parts, maintaining tight tolerances, inspecting components, troubleshooting machining issues, and performing routine equipment maintenance. It requires 5–10 years of manual machining experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in a shop environment with physical demands and metal-handling exposure.
