Description
The Manual Machinist will set up and operate manual Hardinge lathes, Bridgeport milling machines, grinders, and other medium-size machines to perform turning, boring, threading, knurling, slotting, drilling, and tapping. The role includes reading blueprints and sketches, selecting tooling, producing components to tight tolerances, inspecting parts, developing and repairing fixtures and tooling, troubleshooting, and supporting R&D projects. Candidates need technical school or at least five years of related experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
