Description

The Machinist operates horizontal and manual vertical lathes, milling and grinding machines, VTLs, jig bores, bridgeports, drill presses, and other special shop equipment to repair parts. The role involves interpreting process travelers, blueprints, drawings, manuals, specifications, and verbal directions; measuring, marking, and scribing dimensions; modifying materials; testing equipment; and performing maintenance. The position requires two years of machining experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, experience with machine tools and equipment, and fluency in English. Moderate physical lifting and pulling is required.
