Lockheed Martin is offering a Level 3 Electrical and Mechanical Assembly Technician apprenticeship. The role trains apprentices in electrical assembly techniques, interpreting drawings and written instructions, using hand tools and measuring and test equipment, improving assembly methods, solving process issues, prioritizing workloads, and applying 6S principles and lean manufacturing techniques. Applicants need GCSEs 9–4 or A*–C in English and Maths, either two A-levels including Maths or Physics, or a completed Level 3 Extended Diploma in an engineering-related discipline.
