John Crane is hiring a Purchasing Manager to manage and develop its supply base and execute transactional procurement activities for goods and subcontracted services. The role covers purchase-order processing, ERP and MRP exception resolution, supplier performance and relationship management, RFQs, price negotiations, lead-time and inventory optimization, contract and supplier onboarding, data management, and cost-reduction initiatives. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, at least five years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment, knowledge of MRP systems, intermediate Microsoft Office skills, and experience with mechanical-metal procurement.
