The role operates and maintains high-vacuum thin-film deposition equipment, prepares and sets up optical substrates, troubleshoots process issues, performs preventative maintenance, evaluates coated components, and supports production optimization. Required qualifications include Microsoft Office, Google, and email proficiency; high-vacuum, optics, electro-mechanical, manufacturing, science, mathematics, and computer experience are preferred.
