Description
The Control Panel Assembler is responsible for assembling and wiring system power and control panels from project drawings and specifications so they are ready for installation. The role reviews wiring diagrams, lays out and mounts components, drills and taps back plates, wires panels and doors, creates labels, monitors panel-component inventory with Purchasing, performs final quality inspections, and supports Engineering and electricians with issue resolution. It requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of experience wiring electrical components or systems, and the ability to read wiring schematics; the work involves prolonged standing, repetitive hand motions, handling tools, lifting or maneuvering up to 50 pounds, and frequent outdoor or potentially hazardous electrical environments.
