Bergen Cable Technology Inc. is hiring a Design Engineer to translate customer requirements into manufacturable products and maintain engineering data throughout the product lifecycle. The role supports sales growth by evaluating new opportunities, preparing feasibility reports and routing estimates, coordinating prototypes, and working with suppliers. It also manages ERP bills of material and routings, supports engineering change orders, maintains drawings and manufacturing documentation, and administers AS9100-compliant engineering records. The position requires an undergraduate degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering, two years of AutoCAD experience, two years of mechanical engineering experience, and ERP experience with bills of material and routings; AS9100 manufacturing experience is preferred. The salary is $90,000–$110,000 annually.
