Description
Apple is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to lead the selection, implementation, and optimization of iPhone manufacturing processes for mechanical enclosure machining, surface treatment, CNC, laser, assembly, and related processes. The role involves designing processes and fixtures from product drawings, developing machining programs and advanced cutters, qualifying equipment and suppliers, reducing cycle times during NPI, and coordinating with Product Design, Industrial Design, manufacturing sites, vendors, and quality teams. The position requires a mechanical or related engineering degree, at least five years of consumer-electronics manufacturing experience, CAD/CAM/JMP/GD&T proficiency, and English and Mandarin fluency.
