Description
Apple is hiring a Manufacturing Process Engineer to manage the selection, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes for mechanical enclosure subassemblies. The role collaborates with product design, industrial design, quality, suppliers, and manufacturing teams across Asia and the United States; develops equipment, tooling, fixtures, automation, and bonding or laser processes; improves yield through SPC and DOE analysis; and leads process development from prototype through mass production. A bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering is required, while cross-disciplinary knowledge, vendor management, independent site work, and frequent travel are preferred.
