Apple is hiring a Manufacturing Design Engineer to manage the selection, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes for mechanical enclosure subassemblies. The role develops new processes, conducts design-of-experiments and statistical process control analyses, qualifies processes for mass production, supports supplier tooling and equipment implementation, improves yield, and provides on-site manufacturing support across Asia and the United States. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering or a related major, strong communication skills, willingness to travel frequently, and hands-on experience with production processes and fixture design.
