1X is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to own critical parts of NEO’s body and joint architecture, developing compact, lightweight, robust, and manufacturable hardware from concept through design, prototyping, validation, and production. The role focuses on electromechanical joint architectures, structural systems, mechanical testing, tolerance and FEA analysis, and collaboration with controls, electrical, manufacturing, reliability, and supply chain teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field and at least five years of experience developing complex mechanical or electromechanical products.
