Description
New Flyer is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for a second-shift role from Monday through Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. The position provides technical support for manufacturing processes, improves product quality and efficiency, resolves production issues, develops work instructions and standard operating procedures, analyzes production data, supports lean and continuous-improvement initiatives, and contributes to manufacturing cell layout and equipment/tooling selection. The role requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or a related field, prior manufacturing engineering experience, knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma, CAD proficiency, strong analytical and communication skills, and flexibility to work weekends.
