JTEKT Column Systems North America is hiring a full-time Manufacturing Engineer in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. The role reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor and supports manufacturing engineering projects, tooling and capital equipment acquisition, plant layout changes, machine and tooling modifications, production-floor problem solving, process validation, APQP, ECOs, cost reduction, and lean activities. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a BS in engineering or equivalent experience, and at least five years of experience in metal removal, CNC programming, welding, metal forming, or assembly; it also requires local travel to various worksites and may involve extended hours and weekend work.
