Lam Research is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to support the planning, development, and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes, and operations for specialized mechatronic assemblies used on semiconductor production tools. The role covers process optimization, MBOM and traceability management, DFMA and manufacturability feedback, quality and yield improvement, root-cause investigations, make-vs-buy analysis, supplier coordination, and fixture and equipment design. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline, at least eight years of related experience or five years with a master’s degree, and strong manufacturing, troubleshooting, and engineering-change-management skills. The position offers hybrid On-site Flex or Virtual Flex work arrangements and a California San Francisco Bay Area salary range of $104,000 to $231,000.
