Description
The Manufacturing Engineer optimizes manufacturing operations and troubleshoots production problems while planning and designing plant-floor layouts, fixturing, tooling, and equipment. The role supports production, continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, safety and ergonomics, new-product introduction, workstation load balancing, torque and high-risk-part specifications, welder certifications, and cross-functional root-cause resolution. It also evaluates process and equipment options, prepares time studies, manages budgets, and develops systems to improve cost, quality, safety, lead time, and working capital.
