Description
The Manufacturing Engineer develops manufacturing methods, processes, work instructions, tools, fixtures, routings, labor standards, and assembly procedures for new or improved products. The role supports design and assembly operations, performs line balancing and product-line layouts, analyzes production and customer-return data, applies Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, and statistical methods, and leads continuous improvement and corrective-action efforts. It requires a manufacturing or mechanical engineering degree, at least five years of related experience, mechanical-systems and lean-manufacturing experience, engineering-drawing interpretation, statistical-analysis, 3-D modeling, and commercial aircraft seating assembly experience.
