Description
Amazon Web Services is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for its Hardware Engineering team to scale manufacturing of mechanical and thermal products across a global network. The role owns manufacturing launch and resolution of process issues, including PFMEAs, control plans, process flows, test fixtures, and quality control across contract manufacturers, original design manufacturers, and component vendors. The engineer will provide hands-on technical support during new product introductions, investigate customer escalations, and drive lessons learned and process standardization, with 50–75% domestic and international travel. The position requires at least two years of high-volume manufacturing or sourcing experience and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent experience.
