Description
ALTEN is hiring a mid-level Manufacturing Engineer in Portsmouth to serve as the manufacturing interface for multidisciplinary project teams. The role leads New Product Introduction activities, ensures products transition from design to production readiness, develops manufacturing documentation, assesses manufacturing capabilities, supports non-conformance investigations, conducts root cause analysis, identifies risks, and drives continuous improvement. The position requires at least three years of engineering experience in aerospace, space, defence, military electronics, or another highly regulated sector, along with electronic manufacturing, PCB assembly, SMT, and high-reliability product experience. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or equivalent military experience is required, and the role is fully onsite.
