Description
The role leads Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives in a medical device manufacturing environment, partnering with CNC machinists, setup technicians, engineers, and plant leadership to improve quality, cost, productivity, and sustainability. Responsibilities include analyzing ERP production data, leading Kaizen events and Six Sigma projects, implementing manufacturing technologies and fixtures, performing root cause analysis, mentoring operations teams, supporting new product introductions and process validations, and contributing to plant leadership. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience, 5–10 years of production, manufacturing engineering, or operations leadership experience, medical device manufacturing experience, CNC machining knowledge, G-code/M-code and Mastercam familiarity, GD&T knowledge, and familiarity with ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR 820. The salary range is $90,000–$120,000.
